The metal impeller is the big deal here. An impeller is basically the fan that does all of the sucking and blowing (insert funny guy joke here…). When vacuuming leaves, you have to worry about sticks and other debris that will clog up (or break) the blower/vac. But, with the metal impeller, you can suck up a lot of little sticks and debris without breaking the machine (although it still clogs from time to time). All in all, it’s a pretty good product and a pretty good value.
